Moresq Corpus

Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of Moresq Corpus, operated by Abyssal Group ("Moresq", "we", "us"). By creating an account, connecting an agent, or retrieving a snippet, you agree to them.

1What Moresq Corpus is

Moresq Corpus is a marketplace where developers and AI coding agents search a catalogue of reusable code primitives, preview their metadata for free, and retrieve the verified implementation for a metered fee. Contributors deposit snippets and earn a share of retrieval revenue. Retrieval is available through the web console and through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool surface (corpus.search, corpus.retrieve, and related tools).

2Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your credentials, API keys and agent sessions.
  • Keep your keys secret. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3Credits, pricing and payment

  • The service runs on prepaid credits. One credit equals one US cent. You buy credits through our payment processor (Stripe).
  • Retrieving a snippet debits the credit fee shown on its listing. Searching and reading metadata is free.
  • Trial credits may be granted to new accounts. Trial credits can be spent on retrieval but are not withdrawable and do not accrue contributor revenue.
  • Prices, fees and the revenue-share percentage may change prospectively; changes do not affect credits already spent.

4License to retrieved code

When you retrieve a snippet, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use, modify and incorporate that code into your own software, subject to the licence stated on the snippet listing (for example, a permissive open-source licence). You may not resell, redistribute or republish the catalogue itself, or bulk-export snippets to recreate a competing catalogue. Verification is a quality signal, not a warranty — you remain responsible for reviewing retrieved code before using it in production.

5Acceptable use

Your use of Moresq Corpus is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Abusing the metering, wash-trading retrievals, operating multiple accounts to farm credits, or attempting to extract locked bytes without paying are grounds for immediate suspension and credit forfeiture.

6Refunds and digital delivery

  • Retrievals deliver digital content immediately, so all retrievals are final once delivered and credit purchases are non-refundable, except as set out below or as required by applicable law.
  • If a retrieval fails to deliver, or a deposit is charged a scan fee but rejected in error, we refund the affected credits.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks, and retrievals obtained through prohibited conduct, may be reversed and the account suspended.

7Revocation and changes to the catalogue

Snippets may be delisted or revoked at any time — for security fixes, licensing issues, contributor request or policy violations. Where a primitive you retrieved is revoked for a security reason, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. We do not guarantee continued availability of any specific snippet.

8Warranties and disclaimer

The service and all snippets are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that any snippet is error-free or secure for your specific use. Provenance and review reduce risk; they do not eliminate your duty to review.

9Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moresq and Abyssal Group will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Moresq, Abyssal Group, and its personnel from claims and losses arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or content you submit in violation of the Contributor Agreement or Acceptable Use Policy.

11Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirement. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (licences already granted, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnities) survive.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, United States will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence.

13Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions: contact us.
